JOB POSITION - EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
As a Sales Executive, you will be providing educational nursing software to Colleges and Universities across North America. You will primarily be selling to Deans and Program Directors. This role is new business development with minimal warm leads supplied. This is a newly created position and will be reporting directly to the President of the company. The base salary is $70,000 - $75,000 plus annual bonus.


COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
• $70,000 to $75,000 Base Salary, plus annual bonus

The company was founded in 2016 with a staff of 6, is employee-owned, and currently growing by over 75% per year. Their corporate culture promotes teamwork and a positive work-life balance. Their current clients include Trent University, Georgian College and Herzing University.


OFFICE LOCATION & SALES TERRITORY:
• Head Office - Toronto Ontario
• Working from the office 4 days a week.
• The sales territory is Ontario and the United States.
• Full-time - Monday to Friday

 

EXPERIENCE, BACKGROUND & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
• 2-3 years of sales experience
• Experience selling Software as a Service is considered an asset


TECHNICAL SKILLS:
• Excel - Intermediate
• PowerPoint - Expert
• MS Word - Intermediate
• Online Demos- Expert

• Average project size is $40,000 - $50,000 +
• Average revenue by customer $100,000 +
• Average length of sales cycle 6 - 9 months

LEADS:
• 90% Prospecting/Cold Calling
• 10% following up on warm Leads


OVERNIGHT TRAVEL:
• Occasional overnight travel required (1-2 times per year)
